This is short demo of NewTek's TriCaster by NewTek President & CEO, Jim Plant

The process of creating live, network-style television can be very costly and require massive amounts of expensive equipment and a large crew of people. TriCaster™ changes all of that. In one lightweight, portable system (small enough to fit in a backpack), you have all of the tools, including live virtual sets on select models, required to produce, live stream, broadcast, and project your show. There is a reason that TriCaster is the standard in portable live production for major players like Fox Sports, MTV, VH1, NBA D-League and the NHL. Its small footprint makes it possible to broadcast from anywhere and TriCaster is flexible enough to allow you to deliver live productions on your own or with a team. No matter where your live broadcast plans take you; there is a NewTek TriCaster perfect for you.

TriCaster PRO™ provides a complete portable studio and offers the flexibility to mix component, composite and S-Video camera sources. Produce your show with network-style virtual sets, balanced audio, an integrated character generator, broad file format support, increased storage and much more.

Schools, sports teams, broadcasters, worship facilities, government agencies and many others have come to rely on the award-winning TriCaster PRO for portable live production and live streaming.

The TriCaster™ has changed the way producers cover and distribute live events. TriCaster set a new industry standard as an innovative, easy-to-use appliance for portable live production and streaming, it has become the choice for video producers worldwide. Production crews from one person to small teams can set up quickly and produce from confined spaces where production trucks cannot go. The tools you expect to find in a live TV truck are included in TriCaster, from multi-camera switching and audio mixing to titles, clip playback, live streaming and even network-style virtual sets on most models.

The Tricaster Pro sells for about $8000
